The cutting blade has carved an indispensible place in the history of existence. For thousands of years, humans have relied on some sort of cutting tool for basic survival needs: food, water, fire, and shelter. Now, in our modern society, we casually refer to this knife as a “survival knife”. It certainly earned the name. However, all survival knives are not created equal.

The Survival Knife is not a magic wand, nor does it have inherent magical saving power. The real value is in the skill of the person using it. Skill comes only from practice and repetition. You wouldn’t buy a survival knife to deck out your caveāit’s a tool meant to be used.
